I am a mom of 4 kids(11,10,8 and 6)who taught preschool for 2 years.
I hope you can use this blog as a resource to find fun activities to do with your children. Some ideas are new, while others have been around a while. This is a place where I can store all our activities without having to actually have to store them in my attic. I hope you find some fun and easy ideas.
Yes, I think my bread basket turkey looks a little weird. But my kids truly enjoyed decorating the tail feathers. With different colors, it would look more like a thanksgiving decoration. But if you are interested in making it here are the supplies: Body- shoe box wrapped in a paper bag Head- paper plate, construction paper (eyes), marker for the beak and felt for the gobbler. Wings- paper plate covered with construction paper Feather- any thing in your craft supplies, let the kids go wild. The wings are glued on paper plates, then glued to the shoe box. I think if you used scrapbook paper for feathers, that would look good too.
