Please Do Not Judge My Tree

I love my Christmas tree. It will never be on the cover of a Martha Stewart Magazine, but it is special to me. Almost every ornament on it has a meaning or memory attached. So please let me explain, before you laugh.

These ornaments are ones my Dad made for me before he past away. I have 12 of them, one for each of the 12 days of Christmas.

We have 3 John Deere tractor ornaments for when my son was 3 and loved John Deere. We even named a dog John Deere.

This was of course was our first Christmas
together.

I have a bunch of these icicles. My mom was living with us this Christmas and every bead in the house was turned into an icicle to decorate the tree.

Then, of course, the ornaments my kids make in school.

I also have 4 baby ornaments. For my babies first Christmas'.

Last year my kids, sadly, liked Sponge Bob.
I am glad that is over.

My daughter like Barbie and Hello Kitty.

Then there is the Hallmark ornaments I love.

I love all ornament where I can put my kids pictures in and I have plenty of them.

I could go on and on about each of my ornaments. I wanted to quickly explain my tree.
You see, all my ornaments mean something, which makes it hard to decide which to choose. I know each year we will get more and more ornaments. Either my tree is going to get more and more filled up until it falls over or I am going to have to get more trees.
So please do not laugh at my tree.

Beautiful tree and lovely ornaments! My tree is full of special ornaments as well. I would rather have a tree full of ornaments that bring back memories than a Martha Stewart tree- leave those for the department stores!

That is a wonderful Christmas tree! I like how you showed the ornaments up close and explained them.

I keep trying to get hubby to take us to get our Christmas tree.

Our tree is full of memories too. I'll take it any day over a "perfect" looking one.
