I am a mom of 4 kids(11,10,8 and 6)who taught preschool for 2 years.
I hope you can use this blog as a resource to find fun activities to do with your children. Some ideas are new, while others have been around a while. This is a place where I can store all our activities without having to actually have to store them in my attic. I hope you find some fun and easy ideas.
I started doing the Santa for Christmas Eve breakfast a few years ago. I saw the idea in a cooking magazine and fell in love with it. I came up with the snowman this morning. I know this is not a nutritious breakfast, but my kids love it. I am sure if you are more creative with food than I am, you could use more fruits in place of the candy. For the Santa I used a pancake, whipped cream, banana slices, cherry pie filling, a cherry and chocolate chips. The snowman made from 3 pancakes covered with whipped cream, 2 candy canes, candy corn, M&M's and chocolate chips.
Here is my attempt at a Christmas tree with French toast, powdered sugar, green sprinkles and M&M's. I used sausage as the trunk. Not one of my best ideas but maybe you can take the idea and make it better.
