Wondering what to do with your kids candy hearts besides eat them, play Bingo with them. I found this idea in one of my son's magazines , National Geographic Kids and all my kids love to play (even my 2 year old, you just have to tell her not to eat the candy).
You will need: markers, ruler, paper and candy hearts.
To make the Bingo Cards: For each card, cut the card the same size. I did mine . Now using a ruler draw 25 squares that are equal in size. Each player counts out 25 hearts and writes the saying from each candy. It is o-kay if the same saying appears more than once.
To start playing: All player throw in their 25 hearts into a bowl or bag. Pick one person to be the "caller." I used pieces of paper as markers but you can also use coins or extra candy. The first player to fill a straight line wins.
You can
Glue the candy hearts to the outside of a votive candle. Use a craft glue. Do not be silly like me and use hot glue, DAH!! Now when I light up my candles the candies fall off. Sometimes I do not know where my head is.

These are great ideas and I LOVE your new signature!
Great ideas, thank you for sharing them :)
What a fun idea. Sadly, I know neither of my children could resist eating the candy. I file this idea away for when they're older. Thanks for sharing.

I love them both. That bingo idea? Now THAT is clever my friend. And I'm still in awe at your awesome new blog design!
Those are so cute! Again I say "where were you last year when I needed crafts every week!"
I love all the crafts you do. Can I send my kids over to make crafts? I just don't have the patience, but need to find it. Maybe/hopefully you will inspire me.
those are great ideas - you are so crafty! And I love the new look- I'm a tiny bit jealous...but not much because I heart your blog so much!!
Man you had better still be blogging when my son is old enough to do crafts with - your ideas are amazing. Or better yet you should gather these for a book - seriously.
I can imagine that I would tell Hailey not to eat the candy, but she wouldn't be able to resist. And since I don't want any choking- this craft will have to wait a couple of years. I love the Bingo idea though! So cute!!

Cool ideas!
This one really makes me happy! I am making these... Great ideas.
A whole bushel of creative ideas--filing this one away for sure.
Again such a cute craft!
Super super cute ideas! I once helped 5th graders make homemade Bingo cards and we took them with the heart-shaped candy to a senior citizens home for a special Bingo night. It was so festive and so fun. My kids are getting old enough to do that now, so I'll have to plan a Bingo playdate!
You are so crafty how do you do it??? Thanks for the tips on movies I thought about the wizard of OZ then I remembered how scared I was watching this as a young child so I think I may hold off for a bit. The Shirley Temple movies sound Ideal and I will go check them out!
Very fun Valentine's Day ideas. My kids will love these. We like to go ALL OUT for Valentine's Day.
I loved these ideas so much, I referenced them and linked out to your site from CraftTestDummies.com. Keep up the crazy rambling! Love it!
