My Sweet Baby ?

Last night we were having a really nice dinner. We were eating banana pancakes and sausage, the kids were behaving and we were having interesting conversation about the day. When my two year over looks at me, holds up her piece of sausage and says, " Mom?"
I say, " What dear?"
She looks right at me and says,"This tastes like poop !"
I say, "Well, thank you dear."
She says," Your welcome."

Everyone started laughing and throughout the meal she kept saying, "You're welcome", because she thought that was the funny part.

Then after dinner she walks up to my husband, backs up to his leg and say," I am going to poop on you, Daddy. " And of course she finds that funny too.

I know kids go through the poop obsession ( I wish she would obsess about it on the toilet) and think it is funny but does not she look too sweet to say things like that?

Oh, she is VERY cute! Especially what she said at the dinner table (your dinner, which BTW, sounded great... I'm a big fan of pancakes & sausage!)Our just turned 3 year old has finally mastered the potty. Which as you know is a major big deal!

I totally understand. Miller is saying...Leave me Alone.....and it is driving me nuts.

We're doing the poop thing here, too. I think she's picking it up from school since we don't normally talk about poop much here. I sure hope this is a quick phase...

Aww...she is cute - and yeah, I remember other kids (when I worked in a daycare) having those poop conversations with me a lot too...guess I'll be looking forward to that with my son yet(ha!)

You know I think she's a cutie! I love the poop talk. Some of our best discussions have involved poop and it is ALWAYS at the dinner table...wonder why that is?

Oh yes- she is super cute! I find it hilarious when kids don't get what is funny but laugh anyway! Though, I agree- I could do without poop talk.

Dinner sounds yummy! When can I come over for some?

What a cutie. My kids all went through poop obsession especially my boys. Boys like this stuff anyway.

I was over at Jen's blog (a good cup of coffee) and figured I'd check yours out. I love the yummy hostess snack you made. Your crock pot recipe also sounds good I want to give it a try.

She is a cutie! Who would think she would say such a thing! I remember my kids going through that obsession too. At least she said it at home and not loudly in a restaurant!

We're going through that here too, but times 2.

I don't know why they won't use the toilet, but talk about poop constantly.
