If you are low on your favorite lipstick or you are looking for a more natural shade, use blush. Take your powdered blush, and dab it on to your lips with your finger and then top it with a clear lip gloss or Vasaline. It works for me.

What a great idea! I always seem to be out of lipstick because Wal-Mart doesn't carry the brand and color I like!
That is fantastic - I'll give it a try! I think my current blush would actually make a great lip color.
