I did it and Miracle Monday

I do not know about you, but getting my hair cut is always a major ordeal for me. I always say, this time I am going to get it cut, I mean cut, get a style and everything. I always come home with about a 1/2 inch cut off the ends and that is it. My husband is always telling me to try something different and I always chicken out. But after long contemplation and many hour on Marie Claire.com's virtual salon, I did it (That is a fun site, you can down load you picture and try different hair styles and even make up colors.)

Is it hard for you guys to change your style or do you think, "Oh, it is only hair it will grow back ?" You would think I was a super model on how much it stresses me out. My hair is not great, but I have had some bad hair cuts and it is terrible.

So here is what I started out with:

This is what I came up with on Marie Claire.com:

This is what I came home with.

Now that is over, hopefully I will not have to make that crucial of a decision for while.

Enough about me, I wanted to mention my friend Beth has a really great idea for her blog. Starting this Monday she is going to be doing Miracle Mondays. This is where people are going to write a post on their blog about Miracles that they have experienced, then link them back to her blog. Then we can go read all these inspiring stories. I am excited to see what people will write about.

I love your cut! I am always looking for that one great hairstyle...I just never seem to find it so I stick with my boring one. I will have to check out that site and try a new hairstyle on to see if I will like it! Thanks!

Your hair looks so cute!

I love it! I have the opposite problem. I keep saying I am going to grow my hair out and I tolerate it for a while, then get sick of it and cut it again.

I love your new haircut! I did the same thing last year, my hair was about as long as yours (before) and I got it chopped to about the same length as yours is now. But then I kept going back and getting it shorter and shorter :) Careful...short hair is addicting :)

Your new style looks wonderful. I'm one of those who doesn't mind a change, once I find a stylist that I like that is. After losing my last one, I finally found one a couple of years ago when he cut 14 inches off for me. I love that I can go to him and not have to decide what kind of cut I want; I just trust him to do something good. He always does. Sometimes it takes me a few days to get used to the new cut though.

You look great.

YES...I suck at change. I have had the same NON-hairdo for like 20 years. sigh....My SIL even gave me a GC for a great cut for my birthday in Sept...I haven't used it yet. sigh...

I am proud of you.

I LOVE your new look! Very cute. I had LONG hair forever and I only got a couple of inch cut off every now and then but when I finally made the plunge and got it cute SHORT. I never went back. Although I miss my long hair sometimes, I like how I can change up my hair style all the time and I found when my hair was long I always threw it up in a pony tail or scruncy bun thingy. Because with all the kids it was just too much to worry about!

LOVE the Look good job! :)

You know I love the new do! And you know I'm stressing out that now you look prettier than me and now no one is going to think we look like twins any more! :(

Thanks for spreading the word about Miracle Monday. I am hoping (and praying!) that people will want to participate!

Very cute! I probably have the oppsite problem then you... when I go to the hairdresser I feel like she never dares to cut off enough. My hair looks better the shorter/closer it is. I have a terrible time styling it if it gets too long. I just got mine cut on Wednesday and she did a terrific job. I love it. But at one point she even said "but you don't want it really short in the back right?" "Yes I do! really short!"
Smiles!

I love the new haircut! It is very flattering on you! I have a hard time getting my hair cut too...bad cuts in the past. My 2 oldest and I are growing our hair out to donate to Locks of Love...we are all almost long enough, so before our Florida trip we are going to go do a girls day and get it all chopped off...I can't wait! They have always had long hair though, so now I am more nervous about cutting their hair than my own.

Have a great weekend!

So cute! I'm totally the same way. My stylist always rolls her eyes, because I always ask for a trim with no layers!

A few years ago I decided to be spontaneous and chop my hair off. When I saw myself in the mirror, I cried! I've grown it out ever since . . .
