I know a lot of my crafts are on the girly side, but this is perfect for the little boys in your lives (girls like this too).
You will need toilet paper rolls, construction paper, brass clips, scissors and markers.
I roll the toilet paper roll with construction paper and then let the kids decorate as they please.
Caity added a person made from a pom-pom.
This blue one is Colton's.
Colton's made this one too, it has flames coming out the back because it so fast.
This lovely one is mine.
Cody made a rocket. The great thing about crafts are it has taught me that it is O.K. if the kids do not make what I want them to make. Also it has really showed me my kids are very creative, much more than I am.

Oh my gosh, these are so fun ! I saved toilet paper rolls forever and then threw them because I never knew what to do with them ! But ... there's always more toilet paper rolls around here so I'll be savin' some up and doing these with the kids. Jono will love it !!! Maybe I'll do a little post about it !!
how fun! Adam will love this!
Glad you are back! You do so much with toilet paper rolls, but this one looks easy. I tried to make a leprechan, but it didn't look too good!
Another great craft! Thanks for sharing!
Darling idea. And we seem to have a plethora of empty toliet paper rolls...one on every roll holder in the house:-) Gald you're feeling better!
Very cute.....I always feel guilty throwing those tubes away. I knoe they have more life in them besides being a tunnel in the little gerbil cage at the kids' preschool!
Glad you are feeling better!
DARE I say (since I have a boy), this is my favorite idea of yours yet. I have bookmarked it. VERY clever once again!
Those are so cute! I love 'em!
I have an award for you at Livin' With Me, stop by and pick it up.
I love that Colton made a rocket!
Glad you're feeling better,
Heidi :)
Those are so cute. I save my toilet paper rolls all of the time (don't know why, I just do!) Now I have something to do with them :) Thank you!
Glad to hear that you are feeling better. I know you had been struggling for some time. Cute cars!
What a fun idea - especially for boys - and girls too I'm sure! ;) I love the pom-pom person! So cute.

Glad you're feeling better!! Those are so cute.
how cool are those! I bet they had a blast creating the cars... and you are right sometimes children come up with much more creative things than we could have imagined to begin with!
What a great idea! Glad you are feeling better!
Glad to hear and see you are feeling better!
those are really cute. But I have to admit...you made me nervous for a second cause when I saw the word pom pom it looked more like porn porn and threw me back for a second! So, unintentional, but still thanks for a laugh!
What a good idea! We go through toilet paper and would have enough for each of the boys to make on ein no time!
What a great use for all those toilet paper rolls! And I have to say, I think I like Colton's flamming car better than yours! :)
Thanks for the boy craft!
My boys would love these! Thanks for the idea.
Those are so creative--great idea!
How very cute! This is my first visit to your site (via Amy @ Momadvice).
I'll definitely be making these with my boys!
Adorable!
Thanks for the great idea. My son is playing with his two race cars as I type. This is my first visit to your blog... I'm off to poke around for more craft inspiration :)
