Part II to Reader's Question- Eyeglass Holders

I think these eyeglass holders are so cute. They are easy and practical. I thought they would also make a good project for the boy scouts to do for the nursing home residence.

You will need: piece of craft fur, craft foam, marker and ruler, buttons, sewing needle and strong thread, fabric and foam glue and clothes pins.

Cut the fur into 7 1/2 x 10 inches

Cut foam into 6 x 6 1/2 inches

Place the fur side down on the table and glue on foam piece. The foam piece should lay flat on the bottom edge and should lay long wise.

Mark 2 dot on the foam. 2 inches up from the lower edge and 2 1/4 inch from the edge.

Sew buttons on the fur side using the black dots as guides.

Put glue on the side half way up the foam. Fold the
foam in half.

Use clothes pins to hold while glue dries.

Use the buttons as a guide and cut 2 holes in the top flap. Make sure the holes are large enough for the buttons to fit through.

Fold over top flap and push through buttons.

I think these would also make great presents for grandparents or any one who wears glasses or sunglasses.
