Cheyanne and I had fun doing this cute and easy craft.
We used: A wooden spoon, paint, brushes, glue, wiggly eyes and craft sticks.
Our craft sticks were already colored, but you can paint or color with markers plain sticks if that is what you have.
Paint the wooden spoon.
Glue the craft sticks to the back of the spoon.
Glue on the eyes.
I painted the beak and the gobbler.
Here he is all finished.
I put him in the center piece in my dining room. I think he is adorable.

That is really cute! I love your centerpiece too!
What great ideas you have! I need to get on the ball with Thanksgiving decorations!
Gobble! Gobble!!!
This looks like a great craft. My kids would love it! Thanks for sharing.
Wow! You're right; I've never seen so many turkey crafts in my life!! BUT, they are all adorable. You seem so gifted; and what a cool crafty quality to pass along to your daughter. I think we'll steal at least two of these turkey ideas (I'm leaning towards the spoon and the sewing.)
You have a good imagination, I really like it!
So cute Jennifer. Move over Martha Stewart.
P.S. What do you do with all your crafts---- you must have a ton.
Can I just tell you again how much I love all your turkeys! I can't wait to see your Christmas craft ideas!!!
Colleen
I made these with my preschool class. They were a HUGE hit! Thank you for sharing this idea.
Hugs :-)

OK. SO I just did a little searchy search since i got it in my head to make a WOODEN SPOON TURKEY for homeschool and I was thinking of using felt but pictured it flopping over...blah, blah, blah...and your ADORABLE blog popped up with this bit if brilliance. It is 2 years old but genius NEVER gets old. AND I HAVE ALL THE SUPPLIES. I think I am giddy. Thanks so much!
Thank you for adding your post into our weekly linky! This week's linky theme is everything about child's favorite cartoon character so come by and add your posts if you have some with this topic: http://best-toys-for-toddler.blogspot.com/
PS. This post is featured in our new linky post ;)
I loved this so much when I found it that I made it the same day with my best friend's daughter who is 2. We had the best time! We made three then placed each one in it's own coffee cup (with rice in them to hold it up) and placed on top of the entertainment center in the living room.
They are absolutely adorable and the two year old was super excited. Thanks for sharing!
