Cheyanne and I made these cute candy ornaments today.

We used: Round spearmint candies, aluminum foil and ribbon.
Preheat oven to 250 degrees.

Lay the foil on a baking sheet and arrange the candies on the foil in a circle.
Place in oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes.

Tie a ribbon on the top for a hanger.

I just recently found your blog and love reading it and finding activities for my little ones. I was wondering if the candies (peppermints) on this ornament are sticky. I have used a candy cane before, but the ornament ended up sticky, so I had to throw it away.
Thanks,
Nicole

This is such a cute idea! Did you just tape or glue the picture on?
So cute, I can't wait to try it!

So cute! I love it!
I love the peppermint candy idea! Run Turkey Run!
These are a little tacky but there are things you can get at the craft store to glaze them.
I glued the pictures to the back but you could tape them.
This is super cute...gonna try it right now! I have a ton of mints from sonic! I also want to try two mini candycanes...maybe they'll turn out like a heart!
This turned out great! I bet putting it in the oven made your house smell like peppermint. yum! Thanks for linking up! =)

I love this idea! I am a preschool teacher and am going to make this with my class. Can you tell me specifically what you put on the candy after you cooked it to make it not sticky? Thanks!
I left that last comment but forgot to give you my email address.
