and I modified it to this for my preschool class.
We used: a clothes pin, heart shaped dollies, glue and stickers.
Decorate the dollies with stickers and markers, if you like. Draw a face on to the clothes pins.Next glue on the hearts as wings.
Learn it with Legos!

THAT is adorable! I bet the kids loved it. :)
I love the simplicity of this!... and versatility, because the body could be made of anything. I am thinking of doing this now for 10 nursery kids with it glued on the front of a card. The body might be a popsicle stick or a row of heart stickers and on the inside of the card (which wll be cardstock folded in half) it will say "You give me butterflies Valentine! Love, {kid's name} To: Mom & Dad". Thanks for the base idea. I also will do just the butterfly with my kids at home for sure. Many possibilities with this one.
