Painted Acorns

I love these painted acorns. They are a great Fall decoration that is super easy.

I saw these somewhere, but I can not find the blog again to do a link.

We went and found some acorns and tops. If you cannot find the acorns attached to the tops you can hot glue them together.

Now just paint the acorns with acrylic paint.

I love acorns, but after a week or so of bringing them home, little worms crawl out. So here is a tip, maybe freeze them before you craft with them, it should kill any bugs

Very cute! The girls have been collecting acorns just to put in jars now we can paint them pretty gold colors.

Oh I love these!!!!

A friend of mine suggested using a spray sealer on them. She had some in an apothecary jar and apparently worms think acorns make nice homes. Eww!

I LOVE the colors, especially the metallic ones!
