Christmas Bird Ornament

I saw this bird ornament in a Crate and Barrel catalog and thought I could make that.
And I did.

I started by spray painting a pine cone and a small Styrofoam ball. While still wet, I sprinkled the pine cone with red glitter. Allow time to dry.

I glued the ball to the pine cone to make a head.
With felt I made the eye, beak, wings and tail feather.
I made the feet with chenille stems.

The picture does not show how pretty it turned out.
