I am a mom of 4 kids(11,10,8 and 6)who taught preschool for 2 years.
I hope you can use this blog as a resource to find fun activities to do with your children. Some ideas are new, while others have been around a while. This is a place where I can store all our activities without having to actually have to store them in my attic. I hope you find some fun and easy ideas.
I said in a previous post that we were doing a fundraiser with the kids art work, here is a project one of the other teachers are doing. It is so cute. And instead of using John Deere she is putting the child's name in place of the John. She made stencils for the tires and seat for the kids to also do.
She got the idea from this great blog by Artsy_ Momma . Here is Artsy_Momma's tractor. You need to check out Artsy_Momma's blog, she has the best hand print and foot print art ideas.
Cheyanne' s preschool class made these cute penguins, I thought I would share the idea with you.
They used: 2 Oreo's, frosting, 2 chocolate chips and 3 candy corns. 1. Twist cookies apart. 2. Attach head. 3. Add feet with frosting. 4. Add eyes and beak with frosting. 5. Break top of cookie in half and attach for wings.
These may not be the prettiest Valentine's, but Cheyanne had a lot of fun making them.
We used: Paint, brushes, paper, craft stick and foam sheets cut into heart shapes. Cheyanne painted the foam hearts. Then took the craft stick and swirled the paint. Then she pressed the foam heart on to the paper. Really hard, as you can see.
