We went to The Dollar Tree today and purchased 6 plain white ceramic plates. Caity, Colton and Cheyanne decorated the with Sharpies.
Then I baked then @ 300 degrees for 20 minutes.
I think they turned out beautifully.
These would make great Christmas gifts.

Glad you posted this. I've been wanting to try it and then saw a blog that tried it and it didn't work (the marker washed off). Any problems with that? I'll give it a try now. Thanks
