Paper plate (small or large- small plates will probably work better with smaller children), glue, green and brown construction paper, scissors and wiggly eyes (optional).
First, you and, or the kids need too tear up the green and brown paper into small pieces. I cut the head, tail and legs out.

My three year old would love to make this cute turtle. Thanks again for all your great ideas!:o)
Very cute! My son and I made the bunny craft from a few days ago. I need to take a picture and put it on my blog.
What a great craft...gluing and tearing paper! Any kid would love it!
We're taking a quick trip over spring break with our cousins...I'll be taking this idea with us to do with ALL the kiddos. Darling.
I love all your ideas, they are great. But I do have a question, you and your children make so many things, how do you store them all? I would really like to see a post on your storage ideas for all the great things. My granddaughter loves to do things like this, and between home and Bible class, we just don't know what to do with them all.
♥ Love the turtle! My kids would love ripping up the paper best, I'm sure! :)
Your kids are ADORABLE. And ditto the turtle :)

Very cute, and salmonella free!
So cute!!!
That is soo cute!! We did a dinosaur by folding paper plate in half and adding legs, head, and tail.
You and your kids are so crafty. I love it!
This is cute - and too funny, because I've been online the last day or two looking for turtle crafts/activities to go with the book, "Yertle the Turtle." We might have to try this one! :)
Very cute I remember many a paper plate project in our early homeschooling years.
You've been tagged at the Cafe today.
Oh that is SO cute, Nicholas will love this :)
Craft is cute but I love your counters!
Your ideas always blow me away! I would never look at a paper plate and think I could make both a bunny and a turtle out of it.
Once again, your a genius!
Jennwa, you NEVER cease to amaze me. And I love how all your ideas seem so doable!
WRITE. A. BOOK!
I love this idea. It's simple enough that I think I could do it with Hailey.
I love this little craft- it is so sweet. Ethan loves all things creepy and crawly :)
Oh that idea is cute! I bet it would make a cute lady bug too--
