Halloween 2017        My little ghost, so cute !!!!

I fell in love with these ghost here at "What Are We Doing Today Mom". I saw this and thought how cute and easy, we need to do this. All you need : Coffee Filter, black marker, aluminum foil and fishing line. Draw a face on the coffee filter. Ball up the aluminum foil with the fishing line end in the foil. Poke a hole through the top of the filter. Thread the fishing line through the hole hanging the filter over foil ball. Now hang.

I saw this skeleton on a Woman's Day website and I fell in love with it. We used: 4 plastic forks, 1 plastic spoon, 1 white chenille stem,a black marker and a paper plate (any strong white paper will work). I also used a glue gun, but a craft glue would also work. Cut out shoulders and hips. Cut the chenille stems into 3 smaller pieces and form them into 3 circles. Glue on the ribs and then the shoulders and hips. Glue on the arms and legs. Use the black marker to decorate.

The pictures do not show how cute this bat is. It is super cute, I just could not get the correct angle for the picture. We used: a plastic spoon, black felt for the wings and ears, wiggly eyes, ribbon and glue. You can add a lollipop to the back side and secure it with a chenille stem or ribbon. It would be a fun way to hand out lollipops to the kids.

We made these flower pot ghost today. I think they would look cute just about anywhere. We used: Terracotta flower pots, black and white paint and paint brushes. I also used a hair dryer to help dry the paint faster. Love the girl ghost.

Caity has gotten to the age where she can come up and do crafts on her own. Today she did a Jack O' Lantern sun chaser. She used: wax paper,crayons, grader, scissors and an iron. She shaved all the crayons herself. Then she created her Jack O Lantern on a piece of wax paper. She then placed another piece of wax paper on top. Put 2 paper towels on top of the wax paper. Now iron on top and bottom to melt crayon shavings. Do the ironing in short increments or the face will become very distorted. Finally cut around the pumpkin to make it's shape.

Cheyanne came home from school with this project and I thought it is great. It is so easy and can be used for the youngest kids to the oldest. With the little ones they can just scribble and the bigger kids can color rainbows, stripes or patterns to change up their Jack O Lanterns. We used: Orange construction paper cut into a Jack O lantern shape (eyes and mouth only), paper plate, scissors, crayons and brass paper fastener. Cut the scallops off the paper plate and color it. Place the paper plate in the middle of the back of the pumpkin and place the fastener in the middle as the nose. Now turn the plate to change your Jack o Lantern.

This is a craft my boys loved. It is not always easy to find a craft they want to do. It is easy and it is fun to watch the ghost shrivel up in the oven. We used: a black marker, Styrofoam cups and an oven preheated to 300 degrees. We colored a scary face on to the cup with the black marker. And placed them in the oven for a few seconds. You may need to form them a little bit when they come out of the oven. Do this quickly, they cool super fast. The cups that were placed on the tops in the oven turned out like this. And the cups placed on their bottoms turned out like this. We hung them up in our door way with fishing line.

These cups came out so cute. They are fun to make would make good candy holders for a Halloween Party. We used: Paper cups, construction paper, glue and scissors. Black Cat Jack O Lantern.
