 A  recipe for a  fun 4th of July includes : Great friends, delicious food and 240 sparklers. The day started with: Caity, my June Clever, preparing a Dirt Trifle in a dress. Clearly,she is nothing like her mother.  The girls hanging with Curly.  Then off to Beth's house. The girls started early with the sparklers.  Then when it got dark, the boys joined in the fun.  Thanks Beth for hosting a great party !!!

End of the School Year Parties and Fourth of July Wind Sock

Caity's class had her award ceremony. She was awarded: "A" Honor Roll for the entire year and Perfect Attendance. Chey's class has an ice cream party and water balloon games. Cody's class had a D.J. and ice cream sundae party. Colton's class made these fun 4thof July Wind socks

Parrot or a Patriotic Parrot

Colton and I made these great parrots. You can make a traditional parrot or you can use Red, White and Blue to make it a patriotic parrot. We used: Construction paper, crepe paper (or tissue paper), scissors, glue and wiggly eyes. I cut out a parrot body and beak. Colton and I looked at pictures of parrots to see exactly what they looked like. Colton decorated the face. I cut slits in the body for the wings and tail. And cut strips of crepe paper. Colton threaded the crepe paper through the slits on the body. Patriotic Parrot Original Parrot:
