Week 3 - Make A Head Meal Menu

I have loved pre making my meals on Saturday or Sunday,  then not cooking for the rest of the week. It is awesome. It gives me SOOOO much more time in the evening.  I do not have to think what are we going to eat and way less clean up. I wish I had started this earlier. I did my cooking on Saturday this week. Sunday:  Beef Stew    Go here for RECIPE     I made it on Saturday, reheated on Sunday and served with rice and crackers. Monday: Calzone   Go here for RECIPE ,        The next 4 meals I made together to fix in any order.  I got these recipes at The Test Kitchen of Melissa Fallis. Last Week's Make Ahead Menu

I am late posting this but the recipes are worth posting. I cooked all my ground beef at one time on Sunday MONDAY: Macaroni and Beef with Cheese  (I made 2 dishes)   Click here for Recipe.   TUESDAY:   Hot dogs WEDNESDAY: No practice, Tortellini with Creamy Avocado Sauce   recipe ,   WE LOVE THIS SAUCE. THURSDAY: Million Dollar Spaghetti   ( I made 2 dishes)  recipe FRIDAY: We went to Godfather's Pizza  YUM !!! Pre making meals makes my week soooo much easier :)

This Weeks Menu- Make Ahead Recipes

Now that football and cheer leading are in full swing, it is hard to get off work and prepare a fast and healthy dinner. As much as I love my Crock Pot, there are only so many meals I can make with that. So I have started prepping meals on the weekend, so I can just pop them in the oven, eat and go. It is a huge time saver and prevents us from having to grab a meal at the fast food restaurants. I am not a huge fan cooking  Sunday, but during the week I never regret having these meals on hand. This weeks MENU: MONDAY:    Santa Fe Chicken Casserole     Recipe   I omitted green onions and added pepper jack cheese.  I pre cooked the chicken in the Crock Pot. TUESDAY : Stuffed shells  (I made 2 pans, 1 to eat and 1 to freeze)   Recipe   Serve with bread and a salad WEDNESDAY: No practice.  Pork chops .  I will be home to cook and the kids will be home to eat.
