Ramblings of a Crazy Woman

This is a fun and easy music shaker for any age to make. You will need: paper towel roll, wax paper, packing tape, construction paper, glue, scissors uncooked pasta or rice and decorations. Wrap roll with construction paper and glue. Tape wax paper on one end. Fill with pasta or rice. Cover other end with wax paper and packing tape. Then decorate with markers or sticker. My kids glued a plastic cup to the top to make it a microphone.

On the last day of summer before school starts we made these tambourines. My kids love to paint, so they enjoyed making these. You will need: sturdy paper plates, paints (or anything to decorate the plates), brushes, seeds, beans or uncooked pasta, ribbons and glue (I used a hot glue gun.) Paint or decorate the bottom of the 2 plates. Fill the inside with seeds or pasta. Glue on ribbons. Glue the other plate on top of the first.

This is an easy noise maker. Take a paper plate and fill it with bells, dried beans or rice. Fold it in half and staple together. Decorate any way you feel. Shake on New Years Eve.
