We Made It ! Friday Showcase !!!!!

Image
This year I am teaching the 2's and the Toddlers class at my preschool, so if you have done a project with young children, that would be great share. But I love seeing all age projects as well. Thanks to all that participate.

"F" for Flower

Image
We did another letter craft today. Today's letter was F for flower. ( Sorry about the pictures, my camera is acting funny) We used: construction paper, glue, artificial flowers, craft sticks and craft glue. Draw the letter "F" and glue on the flowers. It makes for a very pretty picture.

"M" for Marshmallow Painting

Image
Today we finally did a craft. This was a fun project for Cheyanne to do, painting with marshmallows. We used marshmallows, paint, paper and a marker. Draw a "M" and fill it in with marshmallow prints. Cheyanne liked it so much, she wanted to do more painting. I drew pictures using circles and she printed on top of them.

Classroom Pictures

The last few days I have been working on my classroom. I love having a room to decorate. Here is our reading tent. It is made with curtains, ribbons and a hula hoop. The kids love it. The Dollar Tree had some nice and easy bulletin board pieces. It was a lot simpler than my boards I did last year. This bulletin board is not finished. I am going to add pictures of the kids and their families. The kids love seeing family pictures in the room. Simple shapes cut from construction paper. I am so excited about this year, I know it is going to be great fun.

The kids had a blast at the science museum today. Just a few more days until we all go back to school.

Last Week Before School Starts

Image
I know I have not done much crafting with summer, but I have tried to get in all the things we do not usually get in during the school year. Next week I start back to school, and the kid projects will be coming back. Yesterday we went to Chuck E Cheese. My kids love, love this place. We never go to Chuck E Cheese, so it was such a treat for them.

Get your Sillies Out- Kids Making Easy Milk Shakes

Image
This is such an easy and yummy milk shake. It is so easy even small children can at least help make it. You will need: 1/2 cup milk, 1 tablespoon of any flavored gelatin, fruit (blueberries, strawberries, grapes or banana slices). Also, 1/2 cup measuring cup, shaker with a tight lid, tablespoon and a cup. Pour milk into shaker. Add 1 tablespoon of gelatin to the milk. Add fruit. Add lid to shaker. Shake mixture well. Shake to some silly music to make it even more fun. Pour into cup and enjoy.

We Made It ! Friday Showcase !!!!!

We have not done a lot of crafting lately, I guess I am trying to squeeze in all things I wanted to get done since the beginning of summer. We only have 1 week until school starts. If you have done any projects with your kids, please share with us. We would love to see them.

My Kid's Favorite Store

Image
Yesterday on our way home from Charlotte we stopped at the new Lego store in Concord Mills Mall. My kids loved that store, a whole store completely devoted to Lego's. You can buy individual Legos or Lego sets. My boys loved the Star Wars selection. Caity loved the building section. What a sweet girl, she wrote me a message in Legos, "I LOVE U !" Still looking at Star Wars. The girls played with Legos and played with the computers while the boys kept looking. We could not stay long because it was getting late, but I know we will be back.
