Ramblings of a Crazy Woman

Cheyanne has been sick, so Caity made her a get well card. Caity loves these pop up cards and she makes the all by herself. Here are some really good directions on making them. Go here . I love it, I think it turned out great and kids can make these cards for any occasion.

We have been so busy and not any time for crafting.Cheyanne has been asking me to make a craft and I seem to always have something else to do (bad mom award comig soon). So she had to take matters in her own hands. She came up with her own craft, got her own supplies (yes the glue gun, another bad mom award coming). She made her own snowman and even took her own pics, except the last one. Here is Chey's snowman: She used friut cups, ribbon, glue gun, wiggly eyes and construction paper. Glued them all together. She is so proud and so am I.

We are almost done with the hospital. It has been a long process, but I really love seeing all our hard work coming together. We hope to officially open next week if all the inspections go well. I have never remodeled before and I am not sure if I will again. Through this journey I have learned a lot. I have learn to trust God and give my worries to him. We have a lot on the line, I hope this is his plan for us. My husband and I are even closer than ever. This journey definitely could have hurt our relationship but it has only made us stronger. I have also learned I have some of the best and supportive friends EVER ! So many have help in so many ways, mostly watching my kids, which is no small feat. I thank everyone whose has helped and prayed for us. I especially need to thank my BFF, Beth, we could not have done it without all her help. Love you, Beth !!! Here is our reception desk. Sorry for the bad title, I just could not help myself. The girls and I made these pretty, easy and yummy cakes for Valentine's Day. I think they would be good for a girl's birthday party or tea party too. We used: Red Velvet Cake, Cream Cheese Icing, and a cookie cutter. Bake the cake according to directions in a bar pan. Use the cookie cutter to cut out heart shape. Cut the hearts in half and place icing in between the top and bottom. Then pipe icing around the edges of the top. We just used a sandwich bag with one the bottom corners cut off (just cut a small opening). Or you can dust the top with powdered sugar. Happy Valentine's Day !!!!!!

Cheyanne finally lost her first tooth yesterday. She was so excited and I think she looks so cute. As many in many houses a tooth fairy flies in at night takes the tooth from under the pillow and exchanges it for money. As if that was not hard enough to do being undetected, a few years ago Caity came home and said," If you leave a glass of water next to your bed you can see what color fairy came and took the tooth." So now we need to leave glass of water next to the bed and the tooth fairy needs to color the water. The kids are almost as excited to see what color the fairy was than how much money they received.
