Easter Lamb

Caity and I are helping with our church's Easter egg hunt. Our church always does an egg hunt, story and a craft. We are helping with the craft. I wanted to do a craft linked to a bible verse. John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! We used : 2 clothes pins (for legs, colored black with marker), white paper cut in the shape of a cloud, cotton balls, black paper cut in to the shape of a head, eyes and glue. We also used pink paper for a mouth. Glue cotton balls on to white paper for the body. Glue the body on to the clothes pins for legs. Glue on head.

Colors of Faith Easter Egg

Image
I love this colorful Easter Egg, it uses the different colors to tell us about Easter. We used: Yellow, Red, White, Green, Blue and Purple construction paper, glue or glue stick, scissors and a marker. Cut all the colored paper except white into 2 in strips and glue on the strips to the white paper. Draw an egg shape on the back and cut out. Write what each color represents on the colored strips. Yellow represents God's perfect light Red represents the blood Jesus shed for us. White represents the cleansing of our sins. Green represents the new life we have Jesus. Blue represents the baptism that identifies us with Jesus. Purple represents the crown of life. You could also use these colors to make a "Colors of Faith" Easter bracelet with beads.
