Cody's first day of middle school. He is getting so big.

Repost I thought this would be a cute back-to-school craft to do with the kids. You will need : top of an egg carton, yellow paint, black marker, old magazine, paint brushes, black paper, scissors and glue. First, paint the egg carton yellow. Allow to dry. Cut out circles for tires. Cut out heads and faces to put in the windows of the school bus. Glue on tires, faces and decorate the bus with the black marker.

Caity has been making these Paracord bracelets to make some extra money this summer. She has done really well. She has been selling them at the football field during the boys practices. The directions to make them are on You Tube. With some of the $ she has made she bought a pair of feather earrings. Well while wearing them less than 2 minutes, the feather fell out. I told her not to worry, we would fix it. While getting the glue gun out to fix the earring I saw some feathers in my craft closet. I decided to make some of our own. We used craft feathers, glue gun, small jewels, scissors. For the earring wire, we had another kit to make earring with beads and we just hot glued the feathers on to the wire. You can reinforce that with fishing line or ribbon tied around it. These I made for me because the boys football team's color is black and yellow.
