Ramblings of a Crazy Woman

We made this cute reindeer today from wine corks. We used 5wine corks, small red pom-pom, 2 wiggly eyes, brown chenille stem, ribbon,hot glue and a knife. We glued the corks together and decorates his head. I love this reindeer !!!

Here is our Elf on the Shelf. Caity named him "Jake" Doesn't he looks all cute an innocent ? He has toilet papered one of our Christmas Trees. and made a zip line between our breakfast nook and kitchen. The kids love seeing what Jake going to do next.

I love my 20 ft Santa in front of our animal hospital !!! I also love my kids. This year it only took 46 pictures to get a few Christmas pics I liked, instead of the 98 I took last year.

Cody made the All Star Football Team for our county !!! Proud Mommy!! 4 boys from Arcadia ! The team won. Cody got 2 sacks and just had a wonderful game. It was a great game to watch, even though it was freezing .

I love hand print and foot print crafts. I saw this today and just had to share it.

We made this cute pen or candy holder today. I love anything that looks like a snowman. We used: terracotta pot, white paint, brush, ribbon, 2 buttons and hot glue gun. We painted the pot, allowed time to dry. Glue ribbon to the rim and cut a scarf. Glued on buttons.

Here is an easy Nativity made from simple things you may already have around the house. The set is cute and the kids can play with them when you are done making them. Note: I am sorry about some of the pictures. My computer is giving me a fit, and I do not feel like fighting with it. For the Manger we used: toilet paper roll, brown paint, brush, scissors, glue, Spanish moss, a small piece of material, markers, small rubber band and a small craft stick. For Mary and Joseph: large craft stick, piece of material, 2 clipping clothes pin, glue and markers. For the manger, paint the toilet paper roll brown. To make painting easier, hold the TP roll with a clothes pin. Allow to dry. Cut TP roll in half, longways. Glue one half to the other half, back sides together. Add Spanish moss to one half for the hay. To make baby Jesus, cut a small craft stick in half and draw on a face. Glue fabric around the baby to swaddle it. Caity and I had so much fun doing our Indian dolls at Thanksgiving we decided to do some elves. We did 2 different elves and I just love them. For our first elf we used a picture, scissors, glue, construction paper and cotton balls. I plan on doing his project with my pre-school class. Cut out the face of the picture. Cut out the shirt and hat. Glue on to the construction paper. Then glue on the cotton balls. The second elf we used a coloring page, picture, construction paper, markers and glue. I love the elves if you get the kids to make silly faces. Color the coloring page (google elves coloring pages, images) and cut the body and hat out. Glue on to the construction paper with the picture. Colton's picture turned out so funny . What jolly elves !!!!!
