This is a fun project, even for older kids. When was the last time one of your older kids finger painted? It is fun to watch them, My 8 year old just dotted it at first. I had to tell her it was o.k. to spear it all around and get messy. Cheyanne and Caity loved finger painting the feathers.

We used: Paper plates or white paper, different colored paints, scissors, brown, yellow and red construction paper, and wiggly eyes.

Finger paint the plate or paper. Allow time to dry or put in microwave at 25 second intervals until dry.
If using paper, cut out feather shapes.

Glue the feathers on another sheet of paper in a half circle pattern.

Glue on head and decorate the face.
