Thanksgiving Wreath

I think this is a great way to use coffee filter turkeys in a different and decorative way.
They make a great wreath for a door.
And if you do not want to wait for the filters to dry, use the microwave to dry them.

We used: coffee filters, markers, construction paper, glue, wiggly eyes, and a squirt bottle.
Color the coffee filters with markers.
Lightly mist the filters to blend the colors.

Place them in the microwave in 25 second intervals until they are dry or let air dry.
Cut out turkey heads and glue on to the filters. Decorate the faces.

Tape on a door in a circle. Add a ribbon and construction paper that says," Happy Thanksgiving."

I love these! So cute and easy. Love the microwave idea, glad you have tried it. I would have thought it might catch them on fire. We just might do this one.

I love this project it is so easy and only takes a short amount of prep time. Cheyanne loves making the volcano erupt. We used: plastic plate, plastic cup, aluminium foil, tape, vinegar, baking soda and red food coloring. Tape the bottom of the cup to the center of the plate. Cover with aluminium foil. Cut a hole in the center of the foil and push the edges down in the cup. Spoon in some baking soda. Pour in the vinegar. Watch it erupt.
