Large oval for the body, circle for the head, rounded triangle for the beak, wings and feet. Allow kids to glue pieces in the right place. I love Colton's, he added an the egg for the penguin to sit on. I guess he does listen when I read or maybe he just learned it on T.V.. This is a craft from Crafty Kids by Rosie Hankin. Marinated Baked Chicken (I also grill this chicken) It is another strange combo but it tastes good. 1/2 cup Italian salad dressing 1/2 cup Soy sauce ( I use 1/4 cup because the soy sauce is a little salty for us, even the Lite) 6 in bone-in-bone chicken (when I grill it I use boneless skinless) 1/8 teaspoon onion salt 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt In measuring cup, combine salad dressing and soy sauce. Here is another cute craft we did out of the book, Crafty Kids, Fun Projects For You and Your Toddler. I love this paper plate jellyfish. You will need: Paper plate, construction paper, crayons, markers or paint, glue, scissors and crepe paper (yarn and wiggly eyes optional). Cut off about 2/3' s of the paper plate in a wavy pattern for the body of the jellyfish. We glued the body to a piece of construction paper, but you do not have too, it is cute free flowing . Then decorate. We colored the plate with crayons, glued on circles, crepe paper, wiggly eyes and yarn. Here is Caity's cute jellyfish.

Kid Made Monster Truck

I found this really great kid craft book at the library, Crafty Kids, Fun Projects For You And Your Toddler, by Rosie Hankin. We did a few of these crafts today, and the Monster Truck was one. You will need: construction paper, glue, scissors, Styrofoam bowls, aluminum foil, stickers and markers. I cut out the shape of the truck. Let them glue on the truck and wheels to a piece of construction paper. Then decorate. We made a mess, but it was fun. Here is Caity's truck, The Lightening Flash. Colton's The Spike A Saurus

Let me just start by saying I know I did this to myself, but it does not make me any less tired. I got up and was out the door with 4 kids by 8:30 am. We started off going to Wal-Green's, Food Lion, Aldi's, then my favorite, with 4 kids, Wal-mart(But I did get my free green bag) .The kids were O-kay, we only knocked over one make up display in Walgreen's and broke one shampoo in Walmart. We then came home ate lunch and I got the boys stuff together for a Boyscout outing. The boys left, so me and the girls were left home by ourselves. So what do girls do, shop. We headed to the mall. I hate the mall. I can not believe I hate the mall. I know if you added up all the time I spent in a mall, it would add up to years, but now I guess I am old and broke. Anyway, we went to the mall to get Caity's ears pierced. We went to Claire's. It was $38.00, what, $38.00? After getting me up off the floor, she did great, she did not cry at all. She wanted to, but there was so many peo...
