We Made It, Friday Showcase !!!!!!!

I hope everyone had a great week, it has been busy around here. But finally Spring has arrived, so we have been spending more time outside !!!



Thanks to all that have linked in the previous weeks, it has been so much fun seeing what projects everyone is doing with their kids.

OMGosh I am first... the project I linked is one I did many years ago and is near and dear to my heart and has become a fixture in our kitchen. I featured it on Earth Day because we took someone else's trash and turned it into our treasure. It has also inspired another crafty idea that I hope to work on this weekend. I hope you all like it, and while the kids can help, unless they are older this is not a kid's project. I hope you enjoy and it inspires you to turn someone's trash into your treasure!

Super Easy Volcanos

I love this project it is so easy and only takes a short amount of prep time. Cheyanne loves making the volcano erupt. We used: plastic plate, plastic cup, aluminium foil, tape, vinegar, baking soda and red food coloring. Tape the bottom of the cup to the center of the plate. Cover with aluminium foil. Cut a hole in the center of the foil and push the edges down in the cup. Spoon in some baking soda. Pour in the vinegar. Watch it erupt.

Fall Toilet Paper Roll Tree

This is a great craft for even young children. I think it turned out so cute. You will need: Red, yellow and orange paint, scissors, toilet paper roll, and green construction paper (or card stock). Cut the green paper into the shape of the tree top. Use fingerprints dipped in the paint as Fall leaves. Cut 2 slits down, across from each other on the toilet paper roll. Slide tree top into those slits.

Father's Day Card

If you Dad is into fishing I think this would be a great Father's Day Card for the kids to make. We used: Fish Coloring Page , tissue paper or crepe paper (cut up into sqares), glue, construction paper, wiggly eye, and a marker. Glue on pieces of the tissue paper and eye to the coloring page. Cut out the fish pattern. Glue on to folded construction paper. Write," Fishing You a Happy Father's Day !!!!" Cheyanne made one for her daddy and one for God.
