Chick-Fil-A Customer Appreciation Day Year 3

Once again it is Customer Appreciation Day for Chick-Fil-A. If you dress up like a cow you get free food. Yummy food. I LOVE THIS DAY!!!!!

This will be our 3rd year, Year 1, Year 2.

If you mention this day to my kids any other part of the year they will tell you how horrible and embarrassing it is and "I am not doing it this year." But when I say let make our cow customs, they always do it happily. And they are more than happy to go to Chick-Fil-A tomorrow.

And besides it will give them one more story to tell their therapist when they get older and tell them how bad their childhood was. "My mom use to make me dress up like a cow and beg for food."

We went again this year, too! I decided at the last minute for the baby to dress up, too. Unfortunately, all I had was washable marker....then it rained. Not pretty! I wore a cow vest (I like free food, too)!

Super Easy Volcanos

I love this project it is so easy and only takes a short amount of prep time. Cheyanne loves making the volcano erupt. We used: plastic plate, plastic cup, aluminium foil, tape, vinegar, baking soda and red food coloring. Tape the bottom of the cup to the center of the plate. Cover with aluminium foil. Cut a hole in the center of the foil and push the edges down in the cup. Spoon in some baking soda. Pour in the vinegar. Watch it erupt.

Fall Toilet Paper Roll Tree

This is a great craft for even young children. I think it turned out so cute. You will need: Red, yellow and orange paint, scissors, toilet paper roll, and green construction paper (or card stock). Cut the green paper into the shape of the tree top. Use fingerprints dipped in the paint as Fall leaves. Cut 2 slits down, across from each other on the toilet paper roll. Slide tree top into those slits.

Father's Day Card

If you Dad is into fishing I think this would be a great Father's Day Card for the kids to make. We used: Fish Coloring Page , tissue paper or crepe paper (cut up into sqares), glue, construction paper, wiggly eye, and a marker. Glue on pieces of the tissue paper and eye to the coloring page. Cut out the fish pattern. Glue on to folded construction paper. Write," Fishing You a Happy Father's Day !!!!" Cheyanne made one for her daddy and one for God.
