I Finally Gave In

Colton has been begging me to let him get a Mohawk. So I finally gave in. I figured it should be grown out by the time school starts. So I gave him my version of a Mohawk. I could not totally shave the sides because his head would get so burned at the pool.

So here is his before picture:

He is soooo proud. I am glad I gave in, it was worth the grin he has had on his face all day.

How cute! And seriously...what does it matter if he has a mohawk? If that's the desire of his heart (which his smile indicates), you can rest assured that he could certainly ask for worse!

Super Easy Volcanos

I love this project it is so easy and only takes a short amount of prep time. Cheyanne loves making the volcano erupt. We used: plastic plate, plastic cup, aluminium foil, tape, vinegar, baking soda and red food coloring. Tape the bottom of the cup to the center of the plate. Cover with aluminium foil. Cut a hole in the center of the foil and push the edges down in the cup. Spoon in some baking soda. Pour in the vinegar. Watch it erupt.
