Apple Basket Turkey


In case you are wondering, my husband is sick of seeing turkeys, but I do not care.
This is a basket with a dish towel placed in it. I painted a wooden spoon for the the head and neck. And the tail feathers is construction paper folded like a fan.
I think it looks so cute sitting on my kitchen counter.

This cracked me up...because my hubby is the same way with my roosters. :-)

You do know the song "Albuquerque Turkey" don't you? If not, please let me know...it's an addictive song that your kiddos would love. (Course, it might drive your husband over the edge, though!) :-)

Super Easy Volcanos

I love this project it is so easy and only takes a short amount of prep time. Cheyanne loves making the volcano erupt. We used: plastic plate, plastic cup, aluminium foil, tape, vinegar, baking soda and red food coloring. Tape the bottom of the cup to the center of the plate. Cover with aluminium foil. Cut a hole in the center of the foil and push the edges down in the cup. Spoon in some baking soda. Pour in the vinegar. Watch it erupt.
